Was fortunate to get to spend the morning on Ladybird Lake with the lovely lads that comprised the group Hers. Tragically, they were involved in a fatal highway accident in Arizona just a few days later. Way too young.
Woody and Willie
Worked a Today Show interview with Willie G and Woody H today. Woody was in town doing press for The Highwaymen.

What fun getting to toil on a short film that’s about the end of the world being seen through a competitive pie eater.
The Red-Headed Stranger
Three days in the studio with Willie! He tracked vox/guitar for two different albums over three days. Was doing EPK for Sony.
Earth Live
Spent a crazy-interesting few days with 15 million Mexican free tailed bats for National Geographic’s Earth Live special. Over 20 locations around the planet had live satellite uplinks that were switched to in real time. We were at the Bracken Bat Cave outside San Antonio. Skip Hobbe helmed the camera to capture the crazy.
Day 5 – Season 2
It’s almost always a blessing/curse to take on a longer project. Happily got through this one almost in one piece! Had a three week stint outside Alpine to boot.
Dealt – Hill Country Film Festival
Dealt strikes again! This time taking both the Audience Award AND Cinema Dulce (Best of Fest). Got to take my son, who happens to be the only ‘actor’ in the doc (granted, he’s barely in it, playing young Richard in a flashback). Still it’s his first IMDB credit. 🙂
Dealt SXSW Premiere
At long last, Dealt has hit the screen and won the SXSW Audience Award! Shortly after, it was acquired by Sundance/IFC so everyone will be able to see it soon.
