Terminator 4: The Warehouse Singularity
I’ve always said that TV/Film production can occasionally be like having a backstage pass to everywhere. Today’s fun was watching humanoid robots being trained to replace warehouse workers. Cool and terrifying. Here’s a pic of Apptronik’s Apollo from the GXO website.

Had a fun afternoon with local gaming legend Warren Spector who was doing a little Q&A for the mouse. There were amps and instruments everywhere, but I couldn’t get him to strum a little.
A Morning with Rocketman
Got to spend a fun and rainy morning inside of Roger Clemens’ workout facility, filming him doing a promo for a LIV Golf event in Houston. He still throws the heat!

Spent the afternoon with local filmmaker Jeff Nichols for a piece with Galerie. Discovered we had a mutual friend in Greg Kwedar (Transpecos, Sing Sing).
iHeart Country 2024
I decided I wasn’t getting enough steps in lately, so I agreed to work with a branding video crew at the iHeart Country Music Festival at the Moody Center in Austin today. Kinetic would be a good word to describe the day.
Sing Sing Update #2
Our little film that could had its domestic premiere at SXSW. Colman managed to attend the Friday evening screening, even though it was his Oscar weekend (he was nominated for Best Actor in the “Rustin” biopic). I had to work that day but managed to make it to the after-party (which was a doozy).
Sing Sing went home with the “Festival Favorite Audience Award.”
Sing Sing Update #1
Our film Sing Sing has been selected to have it’s world premiere at TIFF 2023 in Toronto. I had never been to Canada outside of a layover at YYZ. Loved Toronto — has all the amenities of a metropolis, but it’s clean and everyone I interacted with was friendly. I even got to take in a ball game.
We had a great screening and after-party. The best part was A24 acquiring it a week later!

Ever traveled to San Antonio to work in a presidential suite at a resort and the interview subject possibly has covid and bails out of the in-person interview at the last second and you wind up shooting them on a laptop in the afore-mentioned suite? This guy has.
